Privacy Policy — Evidence Capture

Overview
Evidence Capture is a Chrome extension that captures webpages as tamper-evident PDF evidence.
All processing is performed entirely within your browser. We do not operate any servers that
receive or store your data.
Data We Do NOT Collect
- We do not transmit screenshots, PDF content, or captured page data to any external server.
- We do not collect personal information (name, email address, browsing history, etc.).
- We do not use analytics, tracking pixels, or third-party SDKs.
- We do not sell or share any user data with third parties.
Data Stored Locally
The extension stores the following data only on your device:
- Daily capture counter — A count of full-page captures per day is stored in
chrome.storage.local to enforce the free-tier limit. This data never leaves your device.
- Pending print/select data — Temporary image data is stored in
chrome.storage.local to pass between extension pages and is cleared after use.
Debugger Permission
The full-page capture feature uses the Chrome debugger API to scroll the page
and stitch tiles into a complete image. This permission is used solely for screenshot capture
and is released immediately after each capture. No browsing data or debugger output is stored
or transmitted.
Permissions Explained
- activeTab — Access the current tab to capture its content.
- tabs — Read the current tab's URL and title for the evidence PDF metadata.
- scripting — Inject scripts for element selection and page cleanup.
- debugger — Enable full-page tile-based capture without scroll limits.
- storage — Store the daily counter and temporary data locally.
- downloads — Save the generated evidence PDF to your device.
- clipboardWrite — Copy captured images to your clipboard (PNG copy mode).

概要
証拠キャプチャは、ウェブページを改ざん検証可能な証拠PDFとして保存するChrome拡張機能です。
すべての処理はお使いのブラウザ内で完結します。データを受信・保存するサーバーは運用していません。
収集しないデータ
- スクリーンショット・PDF・キャプチャ内容を外部サーバーに送信しません。
- 氏名・メールアドレス・閲覧履歴などの個人情報を収集しません。
- アナリティクス・トラッキング・サードパーティSDKを使用しません。
- ユーザーデータを第三者に販売・提供しません。
端末内に保存されるデータ
以下のデータはお使いの端末のみに保存されます：
- 日次カウンター — 無料枠の上限管理のため、フルページキャプチャの日次カウントが
chrome.storage.local に保存されます。外部に送信されることはありません。
- 一時データ — 拡張機能ページ間のデータ受け渡しに使用する一時的な画像データが保存されます。使用後は消去されます。
デバッガー権限について
フルページキャプチャ機能は、Chrome の debugger API を使用してページをタイル方式でスクロール・合成します。
この権限はスクリーンショット取得のみに使用され、キャプチャ完了後すぐに解放されます。
閲覧データやデバッグ情報の保存・送信は行いません。
権限の説明
